What you will do

• Manage defined GL areas including month-end closing tasks and balance sheet reviews.
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation for annual closings and internal reviews.
• Handle fixed assets, accruals, deferrals, and intercompany consolidation inputs.
• Validate accounting and reporting data according to HGB standards.
• Support the upcoming Workday ERP implementation through testing and data validation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Must be enrolled for at least one more year with an intent to stay for 12+ months.
• Fluent in both German and English.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Interest in accounting systems and ERP processes.

• Prior experience in accounting, controlling, audit, or finance administration.
