What you will do

• Optimize compute resources, storage, and price-to-performance trade-offs across Azure services.
• Build automated reporting and anomaly detection tools using Power BI and DAX.
• Lead technical dialogues with DevOps teams to ensure cost-efficiency during infrastructure provisioning.
• Govern AI-related costs, including token and inference usage as workloads scale.
• Develop financial models to turn cloud spend into predictable, defensible plans.

Requirements

• Extensive expertise in Azure cost management and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in cloud billing data, FOCUS specification, and SQL/Python or DAX.
• Proven track record of generating measurable cost savings in a technical environment.
• Ability to interpret complex architecture diagrams and cost reports.
• Strong commercial instinct and ability to influence senior engineering decisions.

Nice to have

• FinOps Certified Practitioner credentials.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Direct experience managing costs for AI/ML workloads.
