Engineering Director/Expert (AI)

What you will do

• Build, manage, and develop a high-caliber team of AI engineers and researchers, owning hiring and performance.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of autonomous AI Agent products from architecture to production operations.
• Establish benchmark-driven evaluation frameworks to quantify quality signals across agent systems.
• Design and implement Agent Harness infrastructure to ensure stability and reliability in real-world scenarios.
• Orchestrate creative reasoning steps combined with deterministic guardrails for LLM control.
• Integrate AI Agent capabilities into core products and engineering pipelines to boost productivity.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (PhD preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML research, productization, or platform development.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Proven track record of delivering autonomous AI Agent products in production.
• Experience integrating AI into development workflows, such as AI coding assistants.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required to collaborate across cross-regional teams.

• Background at an AI-native startup or frontier AI lab.
• AI publications, patents, or recognized technical contributions.
• Experience applying AI within crypto, fintech, or high-frequency data environments.
