What you will do

• Lead the frontend architecture vision and technical roadmap for system component pillars.
• Design and build high-polish, creative, and interactive experiences to solve complex customer problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design components and foundations for the Stellar Design System.
• Embed with feature teams to up-level user experiences and drive adoption of the design system.
• Research and integrate emerging design trends and technologies into the product.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing and building high-quality UIs.
• Strong web development skills in React, CSS3, JS/TypeScript, and NodeJS.
• Experience structuring design systems specifically for AI.
• Expertise in accessibility and visual/interaction design fundamentals (layout, typography, color).
• Portfolio demonstrating the ability to deliver polished and highly interactive designs.
• Must be based in or able to work from Bellevue, WA or Menlo Park, CA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of databases and associated concepts.
• Experience with both consumer and B2B Design systems.
• Experience embedding with feature teams.
