Regional Manager, Retail Operations - TurboTax

Location: Remote - New York, United States. The role requires at least 60% presence in the field, including travel to retail locations in the New York City area.

Base pay: $136,500–$185,000 per year in Albany, with potential bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Expand and manage a portfolio of retail locations in the New York City area.
• Lead local tax experts and maintain consistent service quality and operational performance.
• Standardize best practices, improve processes, and scale operational excellence across the retail network.
• Pilot new year-round financial services using the hirify.global ecosystem, including QuickBooks and Credit Karma.
• Use data and Voice of the Customer insights to improve customer and expert experiences.
• Visit sites for quality monitoring, process assessment, coaching, and front-line training.

Requirements

• At least five years of formal leadership or people management experience.
• Project management experience, including large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience improving operations in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with evolving priorities.
• Experience leading diverse workforces through goal setting, performance management, and clear expectations.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• At least 60% presence in the field is required.

Nice to have

• Experience managing multiple retail locations.
• Credentialed tax professional licensed to practice before the IRS or knowledge of IRS procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in tax, personal finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
