What you will do

• Lead the Asia Pacific Equities Market Risk group with a focus on synthetic products.
• Evaluate risk-taking behavior through portfolio and transaction-level analysis.
• Establish risk limits and tolerance levels for the equities franchise.
• Challenge senior traders on risk strategies and risk-reward tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with Risk Engineering to develop and improve risk measures and stress tests.
• Communicate risk profiles and emerging threats to senior management and regulators.

Requirements

• Approximately 7–10 years of experience in market risk management, with at least 4 years covering Equities.
• Deep expertise in risk managing synthetic equity products.
• Strong understanding of risk measures including VaR, stress testing, and Greeks.
• Proven ability to analyze and challenge risk-taking activities with a control mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience managing a team is preferred.
