Product Design Engineer (Audio/AI)

What you will do

• Develop production-quality UI components and interactions specifically for musicians and producers.
• Rapidly prototype new concepts to validate and test ideas before full-scale build.
• Ensure pixel-perfect UI execution and high-quality interactions across the entire audio product suite.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and audio research teams to shape the product's future.
• Build and maintain comprehensive design systems and component libraries for desktop, web, plugin, and mobile.

Requirements

• High proficiency in both Figma and modern code editors.
• Strong front-end engineering skills: React, TypeScript, Next.js, CSS, and animations.
• Proven track record of shipping polished, production-ready products.
• Ability to prototype ideas rapidly and think in systemic design patterns.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building creative tools, audio/music software, or other complex technical products.
• Formal design training or a background in design.
• Experience with native UI frameworks (SwiftUI, JUCE, Tauri) or cross-platform app development.
• Familiarity with DAWs, MIDI, Web Audio, or music production.
