What you will do

• Design and build AI agent systems capable of reasoning and taking reliable action within complex enterprise environments.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and orchestration layers for agent execution and knowledge retrieval.
• Create developer-facing surfaces, including APIs, SDKs, and tooling for internal and external use.
• Own features end-to-end, covering architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Make foundational design decisions regarding data models, API contracts, and infrastructure scaling patterns.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building cloud-native, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable architectures.
• Strong server-side engineering proficiency in Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices backed by SQL or NoSQL data stores.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Bellevue, WA office in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM integration, AI agent frameworks, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with agentic design patterns such as tool-use protocols and context management.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience in enterprise cloud infrastructure, data management, or storage systems.
