Company

The Exploration Company is developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle.

What you will do

• Mature the overall fluid system from detailed design to qualification by leading functional analysis.
• Lead analysis tasks using advanced simulation tools and define appropriate data processing methods.
• Evaluate and optimize propulsion system concepts for performance, mass, operations, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain functional performance models using EcosimPro and Python-based codes.
• Plan and execute the V&V plan for the fluid subsystem, including test campaigns.
• Contribute to FMEA and define functional requirements for subsystems like valves and tanks.

Requirements

• Master’s and/or PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with 0D - 1D fluid simulation tools such as EcosimPro or Amesim.
• Deep understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and compressible flow.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be based in Bordeaux, France (relocation assistance and visa sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Experience with storable propulsion systems.
• Proficiency in Italian, German, or French.
