What you will do

• Design and customize mechanical solutions for client-specific requirements, focusing on manufacturability and compliance.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, including coordination and fabrication documentation.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for standard product lines and project workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and plant personnel to refine designs.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing and installation phases to ensure project execution.

Requirements

• BSME or equivalent degree.
• Entry-level experience in mechanical design, preferably in design-to-order (DTO) or custom engineering.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro E.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Fremont, California.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• EIT certification on the path to Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Exposure to sheet metal design.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
