What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development of embedded systems from concept through production release.
• Develop and debug firmware for platforms like Raspberry Pi, integrating necessary sensors and peripherals.
• Drive designs through DFM/DFT and ensure production readiness in collaboration with manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Set the technical direction for the hardware/firmware stack and mentor other engineers on the team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, systems, and program teams to integrate devices into the hirify.global ecosystem.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi and other embedded systems platforms.
• Demonstrated PCB design experience, including schematic capture, layout, and bring-up.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools for mechanical and enclosure design.
• Proven track record of taking at least one embedded system from prototype through to production.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Ability to architect PCBs, including component selection and prototype debugging.
• Experience producing 3D CAD models for enclosures, mounts, and mechanical integration.
• Background in aerospace, robotics, or other safety-critical embedded domains.
