Salary: $104,027 – $145,637

What you will do

• Develop and maintain corporate eCAD component libraries, including footprints and schematic symbols.
• Design and layout high-performance, high-reliability circuit blocks for aerospace applications.
• Create detailed PCB layout design files, including Gerbers and fabrication drawings using Altium Designer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met and provide DFM/DFA/DFT assessments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex PCB design and layout issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices for library management and PCB design.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted asylum.
• 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining PCB part libraries.
• Expert proficiency in Altium Designer for library and layout design.
• Experience with IPC-6012 Class 3 and IPC-7352 standards.
• Experience designing High-Density Interconnect (HDI) boards with fine pitch BGA and multi-rail power delivery.
• Strong background in aerospace or defense industry PCB design.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Certifications such as CID, CIS, or CSE.
• Familiarity with Siemens Valor or HyperLynx.
• Experience with Git, AWS GovCloud, and scripting languages like Python.
• Exposure to AI tools for PCB library and design automation.
