What you will do

• Manage lab consumables, PPE, and chemical inventory to ensure continuous supply.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and logistics for equipment and samples.
• Support equipment installation, setup, and basic troubleshooting.
• Respond to equipment alarms and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Reconfigure and clean lab spaces for new projects and teams.
• Triage and route Lab Ops support tickets and work orders.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in lab operations or a related hands-on environment.
• Solid understanding of daily lab operations and safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Proficiency with lab management tools, ticketing systems, and general computer software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with equipment maintenance, calibration, or troubleshooting.
• Background in chemistry, biology, or materials science.
• Familiarity with CMMS or asset management tools.
• Certifications in biohazard waste handling or OSHA/HazMat.
