What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement high-performance user experiences for hirify.global Issues and Projects.
• Solve foundational scaling problems to enable deeper Copilot AI integration into project management tools.
• Author architecture briefs and proposals to ensure systems can achieve planetary scale.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to define and implement technical roadmaps and priorities.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to foster the growth of the distributed team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 7-9+ years of professional software engineering experience (depending on academic degree).
• 4+ years of experience building high-traffic applications in cloud-native environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• 3+ years of experience leading cross-team technical initiatives and authoring architectural decision records (ADRs).
• Proven expertise in designing, operating, and debugging large-scale distributed systems.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with modern web stacks such as C#, Go, React, and MySQL.
• Experience shipping customer-facing AI-powered tools.
