Salary: $100,000–$130,000

What you will do

• Lead systems analysis, architectural design, and technology selection for core platform components.
• Architect and implement scalable backend microservices and APIs using Python, Elixir, or Golang.
• Define and maintain robust test strategies across unit, integration, and system levels.
• Set expectations for AI-native engineering practices to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical direction to ensure engineering excellence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed event-driven systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Software Engineer owning complex systems.
• Expertise in Python with strong knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and IaC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elixir or Golang.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architecture.
