What you will do

• Perform complex civil and structural engineering calculations using Mathcad and spreadsheets to ensure safety and viability.
• Drive the 3D design process using Civil 3D to manage site plans, grading, and utility infrastructure.
• Conduct drainage, storm sewer, and water system analysis using Hydraflow, WaterCAD, or StormCAD.
• Manage technical documentation and navigate the permitting landscape for local, state, and federal regulatory approvals.
• Lead the peer-review process for design deliverables to optimize constructability and compliance.
• Act as the primary technical contact for department leadership and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineering (P.E.) License is mandatory.
• 4+ years of progressive professional experience in civil/structural design.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software (e.g., Hydraflow, PondPack, WaterCAD, StormCAD).
