TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Finance/FP&A): Managing financial reporting, forecasting, and planning for the COO's Information Technology and Software Operations organizations with an accent on transforming financial data into actionable business intelligence. Focus on developing monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans to optimize financial performance.

Location: United States - Shakopee, MN (Remote, Hybrid, or On-site options available). Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for the US.

Salary: $100,423–$147,287 per year

What you will do

• Provide business leaders with analytics and recommendations to improve financial performance and identify potential risks.
• Develop monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans to provide operational insights.
• Prepare comprehensive reporting packages and presentations for the Chief Operating Officer and their direct reports.
• Support departmental budget preparation and monitor variances to control spending.
• Execute month and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Lead and organize financial projects both within the finance group and across the wider organization.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Unrestricted work authorization for the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Planful, or Coupa.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, specifically project accounting and revenue recognition rules.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
