ServiceNow MID Server Administrator (ITOM/Infrastructure): Deployment and maintenance of MID Servers to enable secure communication between the ServiceNow platform and on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure with an accent on CMDB accuracy, Discovery, and Service Mapping. Focus on troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, managing security certificates, and ensuring compliance with strict government security standards.

Location: 100% Remote (Must be based in the US and hold an active Secret Clearance)

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 Annually

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain ServiceNow MID Servers across multiple environments to support Discovery and integrations.
• Monitor MID Server health, performance, and end-to-end connectivity to ensure stable platform operations.
• Manage the full MID Server lifecycle, including upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and security certificate renewals.
• Troubleshoot complex communication, credential, firewall, and routing issues.
• Coordinate firewall requests, DNS requirements, and service account management.
• Support Service Mapping, Event Management, and ITOM Visibility capabilities.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, or CCNA Security)
• 9+ years of relevant experience (or commensurate education/experience).
• Proven experience deploying and troubleshooting ServiceNow MID Servers and ITOM workflows.
• Strong operational knowledge of secure communication baselines and certificate management.
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux server administration and network protocols.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DHS programs or federal civilian agencies.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-Discovery, or CIS-Service Mapping.
• Familiarity with containerization, orchestration platforms, and cloud-native architectures.
