What you will do

• Lead pricing and modelling projects to deliver recommendations supporting volume and profitability targets.
• Develop, validate, and approve predictive and machine learning models for live pricing environments.
• Monitor trading performance and analyze market trends and long-term pricing assumptions.
• Provide insightful recommendations to senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
• Manage and coach Pricing Analysts to build technical capability and support career development.
• Contribute to the wider pricing strategy and deputize for senior managers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a numerical or analytical discipline.
• Proven experience in insurance pricing or a closely related analytical role.
• Strong programming and data skills in SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
• Experience with predictive modelling techniques such as GLMs, GBMs, GAMs, or Random Forests.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience coaching or developing analysts with a collaborative leadership style.
