TL;DR
Analytics Lead (AI): Leading advanced analytics for Sky’s consumer strategy, shaping the analytics roadmap and turning customer and behavioural data into strategic commercial decisions with an accent on team leadership, statistical methods, predictive analytics, and AI-enabled techniques. Focus on setting technical direction, solving complex business problems, influencing senior stakeholders, and building scalable analytical capability.
Location: London, with an office base in Osterley. Hybrid working requires three office days per week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Own and lead the Advanced Analytics roadmap for the assigned business area.
- Prioritise analytics resources to maximise commercial value and support strategic priorities.
- Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team while setting standards for analytical excellence.
- Set technical direction and oversee complex, high-impact analytical initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and shape business strategy through clear analytical recommendations.
- Collaborate across Consumer Strategy and the wider analytics community to strengthen capability and best practice.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading analytics teams in a commercial environment.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience analysing large-scale customer and behavioural data.
- Experience applying advanced analytical techniques to solve business problems.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to influence Director-level stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of statistical, predictive and AI-enabled techniques.
- Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; does not offer sponsorship for this position.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, R or similar programming languages.
- Experience in subscription, media, telecommunications or other consumer businesses.
