What you will do

• Lead a small team of engineers and technicians by assigning tasks and tracking project progress.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on microwave and plasma projects.
• Develop, model, and test microwave-driven plasma light sources and UV bulb technologies.
• Design and optimize plasma discharge systems for efficient ultraviolet generation.
• Perform experimental validation and laboratory testing of microwave plasma lamps.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to meet performance and cost targets.

Requirements

• PhD or MS in Plasma Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available).
• Must comply with ITAR regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in plasma discharge physics, microwave plasmas, or gas discharge lamps.
• Previous experience leading a small R&D engineering team.
• Proficiency with simulation tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics.
