Salary: $160,000 - $245,000

What you will do

• Lead the development of automated laboratory solutions for NGS assay workflows.
• Design and implement automated liquid handler methods for high-throughput environments.
• Integrate automation software with external systems such as LIMS.
• Manage design transfer and deployment of automation solutions across multiple sites.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineers, providing performance feedback and training.
• Lead risk management activities including Hazard Analysis and FMEA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in product development.
• 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional technical teams through formal phase gate processes.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Proven ability to hire, lead, and develop direct reports.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (Masters/PhD) in Life Sciences or related field.
• Experience with Hamilton Venus programming.
• Success in automating NGS library preparation assays on Hamilton liquid handlers.
