Salary: $125,000–$180,000

What you will do

• Develop and implement automated liquid handler methods for high-throughput environments based on experimental and user feedback.
• Integrate automation software with external systems, including LIMS and integrated hardware.
• Support the design transfer and deployment of automation solutions across multiple clinical laboratory sites.
• Lead Human Factors Engineering, Usability Engineering, and product risk management activities (Hazard Analysis, FMEA).
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training to laboratory personnel on automated systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to national/international regulations and SOPs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in product development.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the working time.

Nice to have

• Extensive experience with Hamilton Venus programming.
• Experience with HSL code programming.
• Experience integrating workcells or end-to-end automation platforms.
