Technical Product Manager (Safety & Compliance)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; full-time onsite work at the Irving office five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $128,470–$208,770 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute the safety and regulatory compliance product strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, safety objectives, risk mitigation priorities, and regulatory requirements.
• Set acceptance criteria and make decisions on safety, compliance, governance features, release dates, and release content.
• Lead safety assessments, hazard identification, risk management, compliance monitoring, audit readiness, and certification activities.
• Partner with Product Owners, Engineering, Functional Safety, Compliance, Legal, Quality, and Platform Architecture teams to integrate requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Establish safety and compliance KPIs, maintain traceability from requirements through validation and evidence, and communicate compliance status and certification milestones.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in Product Management, Safety Engineering, Compliance Management, Risk Management, Quality Systems, or related technical leadership roles.
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory frameworks, certification requirements, compliance processes, and governance practices.
• Experience leading hazard analyses, risk assessments, safety cases, and risk mitigation programs for complex products or systems.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, compliance metrics, audit readiness processes, and lifecycle traceability.
• Experience supporting autonomous systems, connected products, industrial equipment, or other safety-critical environments.
• Strong business analysis, decision-making, critical thinking, and communication skills across technical, legal, compliance, operational, and executive stakeholders.
