What you will do

• Architect and scale the SOX compliance program by designing, developing, and maintaining AI-driven testing for accuracy, real-time insights, and reduced manual overhead.
• Lead testing of core business process controls (e.g., financial reporting, revenue recognition, payroll, equity compensation) using agentic AI systems to identify and mitigate threats.
• Collaborate with Finance & Accounting, Sales, People & Culture, Legal, and other stakeholders to strengthen controls and improve business processes.
• Act as a subject matter expert and champion for AI and automation in risk management.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence within the Risk Advisory and Assurance team.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, internal audit, and/or compliance function.
• Experience supporting internal controls and SOX testing in the technology industry, preferably platform companies.
• Controls testing experience across business process controls, entity-level controls, application controls, and key reports.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and prompting (e.g., Google AI suite, ChatGPT, specialized AI audit tools).
• Ability to assess complex processes to identify risks and opportunities for automation.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and focusing on solutions.
