Principal Product Marketing Manager (AI Governance)

Location: San Francisco, California; candidates in other locations may also be considered

Salary: $193,500–$266,100 USD annually for Zone 1; additional pay ranges apply by location. Compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own product marketing strategy and planning for the AI Governance portfolio, including Unity AI Gateway.
• Develop sales, partner, and demand-generation collateral, content campaigns, and events covering AI governance, compliance, and observability.
• Create always-on go-to-market programs and pilot initiatives to increase AI governance mindshare, pipeline, and adoption.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to launch new products and translate innovation into clear market narratives.
• Work with field marketing, industry, events, and partner organizations to expand global reach.
• Develop customer stories focused on agentic AI governance, risk mitigation, and production readiness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical product marketing experience in an enterprise software company.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
• Strong understanding of AI, security, and governance decision-makers and builders, including developers, ML engineers, and platform teams.
• Experience creating content for governed AI platforms and policy-driven controls.
• Portfolio of impactful marketing content, sales enablement materials, and always-on go-to-market programs.
• Experience presenting at conferences and customer engagements on AI governance, risk, and enterprise adoption.

Nice to have

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering, preferably combined with an MBA.
