Associate Software Engineer, New Grad Card Expansion

Location: Hybrid (3 days in the office), Toronto, Canada

What you will do

• Work in Agile teams across the full software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with designers and analysts to implement enhancements and new applications.
• Develop code to meet story acceptance criteria and maintain program development records.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high-quality output.
• Ensure continuous improvement practices to meet quality and time-to-market needs.
• Provide third-level support of software solutions as needed.

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher completed between September 2025 and September 2026.
• Good communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Good understanding of testing fundamentals.
• Experience with Unix or Linux operating systems.
• Able to work effectively in a team and actively participate in team discussions.

Nice to have

• Front-end experience with JavaScript/HTML and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, or Kotlin.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD, microservices, and API design/integration.
• Experience with version control (Git).
