What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions following AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars.
• Perform hands-on cloud provisioning, scripting, and deployment while serving as a technical point of contact.
• Conduct continuous cloud cost analysis to identify inefficiencies and drive a culture of financial optimization.
• Provide senior operational oversight for systems, storage, and infrastructure services across hybrid environments.
• Support incident response and escalation processes to ensure system continuity and effective resolution.
• Coordinate data center operational needs, including hardware maintenance and vendor dispatch.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Waltham, Massachusetts, USA
• 5+ years of direct experience in cloud operations and infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in AWS architecture, services, and cost models.
• Proven experience supporting hybrid environments, including enterprise data centers.
• Hands-on experience with data center operations and vendor coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cost management or financial governance tools.
• Familiarity with VMware, Nutanix, or enterprise storage platforms like Cohesity and Rubrik.
• ITIL or service management certification.
• Experience with AWS WorkSpaces or Omnissa VDI.
