What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five experienced backend engineers.
• Own the team’s technical vision, priorities, and long-term architectural direction.
• Drive the design and implementation of architectural changes to maintain platform reliability at scale.
• Lead production incidents, post-mortems, and initiatives to improve operational excellence.
• Collaborate on cross-team projects and influence technical decisions across the organization.
• Stay hands-on with design discussions, code reviews, and debugging as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience managing an engineering team.
• Strong background in building complex, high-scale backend production systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical vision, system design, and architecture discussions.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Strong testing mindset with experience in production monitoring and observability.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical decisions.

• Experience with Go programming language.
