Mechanical Design Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States. Applicants must be American citizens or hold a valid US visa or work permit.

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components and production equipment.
• Create and maintain CAD drawings for plant layouts.
• Manage fixture and assembly numbers and maintain traceability.
• Generate and maintain engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Perform equipment risk assessments and support production-focused 4D safety investigations.
• Standardize mechanical designs across equipment platforms and support production operations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of CAD design experience, preferably with SolidWorks.
• A two-year technical degree in manufacturing or a related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, process standardization, mechanical design, and safety.
• Experience or strong interest in modern manufacturing processes and a safety-focused approach.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• US citizenship or a valid US visa/work permit is required.
