What you will do

• Lead financial reporting processes in accordance with Group IFRS and US GAAP standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Perform analytical reviews of financial results to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Oversee local tax and regulatory filings and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Drive process optimization and automation to reduce manual work and strengthen internal controls.
• Mentor and coordinate with financial controllers, including shared service teams, to ensure regional consistency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in financial controlling or accounting.
• Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues independently.
• Must be based in New York and able to work in a hybrid setup (2 days/week in office).
• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP, and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with revenue recognition frameworks (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) is highly preferred.
• CPA certification is preferred.
