Senior Production Operator (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and perform safe, efficient manufacturing and packaging operations for agricultural herbicides.
• Set up, dismantle, and reconfigure filling, sealing, labeling, conveying, and packaging lines during campaign changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process failures, coordinating repairs with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
• Plan, schedule, execute, and document preventive maintenance activities, serving as the site lead for PM management in SAP.
• Monitor production quality and throughput, reduce planned and unplanned downtime, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor operators on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe work procedures.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing, packaging, and production processes in a chemical, agricultural, or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and semi-automated equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, SAP Plant Maintenance, root cause analysis, equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and OEE.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout, isolation procedures, operating procedures, technical manuals, equipment drawings, and maintenance documentation.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, use hand tools, follow detailed instructions, operate production machinery, and lift or move materials weighing up to 23 kg.
