What you will do

• Build the AI agents themselves, including harnesses, evals, orchestration, and model strategy that the product runs on.
• Design and ship production agent systems on frontier LLMs (tool use, sub-agents, retrieval, structured outputs, MCP servers, and orchestration).
• Own evaluation end-to-end using datasets from real traces, rubrics/graders, experiments, and measurable improvements.
• Architect the data, services, and APIs the agent layer depends on, integrating with customers’ WMS, TMS, and ERP environments.
• Codify repeatable deployment patterns to accelerate new customer rollouts.
• Embed with customers and operators to understand current supply-chain workflows and translate field learnings into product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering, with 1+ year shipping LLM- or agent-based features into production.
• Strong in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js, plus experience designing APIs, distributed systems, and data models in PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with production agent stacks: prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, orchestration patterns, and frontier model APIs.
• Track record of building in fast, ambiguous environments (ideally in vertical AI, AI-agent, forward-deployed, or data-product companies).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to run customer workshops and write clean design docs.
