What you will do

• Drive test vehicles for long-distance local and multi-day travel missions across the U.S.
• Perform daily start-up, engagement, and shutdown procedures for development vehicles.
• Monitor and troubleshoot software and hardware systems while on the road.
• Log test data using CAN tools and onboard systems.
• Assist with vehicle readiness, including software flashing and instrumentation installation.
• Collaborate with engineers to provide feedback on system performance and safety.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet strict driving record requirements.
• Ability to pass ten-panel drug screening and criminal background checks.
• Technical proficiency with computers, including terminal commands and GitHub.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics and data logging tools like OBD or CAN.
• Ability to work rotating schedules, including night shifts and weekends.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in technical driving or fleet operations.
• Associate degree or certificate in Automotive Technology or Engineering.
• Accredited proving ground driver training.
• Familiarity with vehicle software flashing tools.
