Technical Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead system architecture and define technical direction for Ground Segment solutions.
• Coordinate technical activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Act as the technical authority throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage technical risks, trade-offs, and engineering decisions.
• Ensure solutions meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers, and partners to align goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong background in Ground Segment or complex software-intensive systems.
• Solid systems engineering skills and experience.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in international programs.
• Experience negotiating technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience with Mission Control Systems (MCS), Flight Dynamics (FDS), or Mission Planning (MPS).
