What you will do

• Collaborate with R&D teams on specialized silicon photonics projects.
• Design and integrate custom analog electrical circuits for test hardware.
• Develop Python scripts for test automation, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Perform laboratory measurements and verify hardware performance.
• Analyze measurement data to estimate uncertainty and define quality criteria.
• Document project activities, test results, and design decisions.

Requirements

• Completion of a Bachelor’s program in electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, robotics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in silicon chip manufacturing, testing, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis or hardware communication.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
• Non-EU nationals must have a mandatory internship requirement from their university to receive visa support.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCB design software (e.g., KiCad) or CAD.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) or data platforms like Databricks.
• Understanding of statistics, error analysis, or measurement systems.
