What you will do

• Manage procurement, material planning, and stock levels for raw materials and consumables.
• Utilize ERP systems to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure continuity of supply.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing and contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and cost.
• Coordinate logistics activities, including imports, exports, and customs clearance.
• Support continuous improvement and supply chain optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Materials Controller or similar supply chain role.
• Background within a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG or packaging.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and supply chain processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Skilled in supplier management and commercial negotiation.
• Experience managing import/export processes and logistics coordination.

Nice to have

• CIPS qualification or working towards one.
• Exposure to plastics or extrusion processes.
• Experience with SAP.
