What you will do

• Lead and develop the C#/.Net engineering function, aligning delivery with business strategy.
• Establish and own engineering governance, standards, and best practices.
• Manage engineering roadmaps, resource planning, and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with architecture, operations, and senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
• Drive automation, modern engineering practices, and continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineering teams while managing third-party suppliers.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
• Must be able to commute to the Manchester office 3 days per week.
• Significant experience leading large-scale engineering or technology delivery teams.
• Proven track record delivering complex technology programmes within enterprise environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and people development skills.
• Knowledge of technology risk, security, and compliance requirements.
