Lead Applied Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Define and drive the applied AI research roadmap, identifying emerging technologies and methodologies.
• Architect and oversee generative and deep-learning models across vision, language, audio, and sensor data.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to turn research into deployable AI systems and enterprise products.
• Improve model scalability, reliability, efficiency, and deployment performance through experimentation and optimization.
• Represent the organization in research partnerships, conferences, and external innovation forums.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related discipline.
• Specialization in machine learning, computer vision, NLP, or multimodal AI.
• 10–12 years of AI research and product development experience, including at least 3 years leading R&D teams or major AI projects.
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale AI models and systems.
• Research contributions through publications, patents, or industry innovation initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking, project management, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of foundation models, generative architectures, and reasoning systems.
• Experience commercializing AI from research conceptualization through production deployment.
