What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and balancing of AI systems for combat and narrative sequences.
• Create and maintain AI behavior graphs using Unreal Engine Blueprints.
• Collaborate with engineers, animators, and level designers to integrate AI features seamlessly.
• Develop technical documentation and manage development tasks via Jira and Confluence.
• Iterate on AI behaviors based on playtesting and team feedback to ensure reliability.
• Drive AI feature ownership independently while maintaining high gameplay standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of professional game design experience with ownership of systemic AI on at least one shipped title.
• Strong experience with Unreal Engine or comparable visual scripting technologies.
• Proven ability to prototype mechanics and deliver features from concept to release.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
