TL;DR

Salary: $107,100 – $158,520 per year

What you will do

  • Take primary ownership of designing and prototyping core gameplay systems, including player mechanics, world simulation, and AI.
  • Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary sub-teams to implement and balance gameplay features from initial design to final polish.
  • Author and revise internal design documentation, including feature specifications and implementation guides.
  • Collaborate with the design team to integrate systems into level gameplay and maintain overall balance between multiple gameplay systems.
  • Iterate and tune features and gameplay based on feedback from design leads, QA, and playtesting.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of systems design experience on PC or console games.
  • Experience working on projects throughout the entire production cycle, from concept to ship.
  • Strong skills in design and scripting (Unreal Engine 4 experience preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and deliver effectively to strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with highly systemic games featuring procedural elements.
  • Experience with shooters, immersive sims, and/or action RPGs.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Perforce or similar source control solutions.
