• Develop, test, and implement core engineering features for the Embedded Accountancy project.
• Design and optimize scalable systems that integrate financial workflows into the retail platform.
• Maintain high coding standards and optimize backend logic to ensure system health.
• Ensure data integrity across financial integration systems.
• Contribute to internal architecture discussions and cross-functional planning.

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong foundations in object-oriented programming (OOP), modern backend languages, and database design.
• Experience building or integrating APIs, data pipelines, or cloud-native platform services.
• Exposure to accounting ledger logic.
• Proximity to or willingness to work from the Norwich Head Office.
