About the Role
You'll join a true product team with large ownership scope, working with cutting-edge technologies where Go is the primary language — no legacy codebase to worry about. You'll focus on improving the reliability of the API and deliver fast and often, embracing an agile methodology with a retrospective and demo at the end of each two-week cycle. You'll design, build and own event-driven, fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems using a microservice architecture powered by Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and PostgreSQL.
Requirements
- Experience with investment products or the fintech domain
- Experience in event-driven architectures, event streaming, and event sourcing systems
- Experience operating services in a decoupled, event-driven system, leveraging modern observability tooling such as monitoring and tracing
Responsibilities
- Make an impact in a product team with a large ownership scope
- Work with Go as the primary language
- Improve the reliability of the API
- Deliver fast and often using an agile methodology with two-week cycles
- Design, build and own event-driven, fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems
- Work with a microservice architecture powered by Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and PostgreSQL
