What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and SDKs for embedded insurance and retirement products.
• Own technical architecture decisions, system design, and long-term improvements across backend platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and integration teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Transform internal processes and workflows into efficient self-service capabilities.
• Participate in incident management and troubleshooting while promoting a blameless learning culture.
• Research and implement improvements to strengthen product quality and platform reliability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building backend systems and production-grade applications.
• Strong expertise with .NET, SQL databases, and ORM frameworks.
• Experience designing API-driven products and scalable backend architectures.
• Cloud experience with platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Must be based in the Netherlands.
• Availability to work with at least 5 hours of overlap with GMT working hours.
