What you will do

• Drive the end-to-end engineering delivery of the Embedded Accountancy Project.
• Guide internal system design and optimize data logic to ensure scalability.
• Maintain long-term codebase quality and robustness of financial integrations.
• Champion technical discussions and refine developer best practices.
• Collaborate closely with engineering leads and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience as a Senior or Lead Software Engineer.
• Proven expertise in object-oriented programming, modern backend design, and database architectures.
• Strong background in building complex APIs, data pipelines, microservices, or financial/ledger systems.
• Ability to interpret complex technical requirements and design scalable software systems.
• Proximity or willingness to work from the Norwich Head Office (Unit 7).
