Financial Automation Specialist (JavaScript/Python)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement document automation templates for trading, reporting, and regulatory processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and senior client stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Translate complex financial, legal, and business requirements into structured automation logic.
• Work hands-on with JavaScript and/or Python to build and enhance automation templates.
• Analyze KIDs, term sheets, fact sheets, and related workflows to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
• Lead or contribute to complex automation projects, maintain delivery standards, support client communication, and ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of financial markets and willingness to learn technology and coding, or experience with legal document review and willingness to learn technology and finance.
• Experience with investment banking documentation such as KIDs, term sheets, or fact sheets.
• Understanding of financial markets or legal and regulatory documentation in financial services.
• Ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into structured, logical solutions.
• Experience or willingness to work with scripting or programming, including JavaScript and/or Python.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, diligence, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and maintain development standards aligned with internal processes, JIRA workflows, and SLAs.
