Process Engineer (Optical)

What you will do

• Collaborate with R&D and NPI teams to define production requirements and assembly specifications.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for contract manufacturer operators and engineers.
• Maintain and optimize process and assembly tools within the manufacturing environment.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on device failure modes to ensure production quality.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and manage the installation of expansion capital.
• Review and update Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required.
• Minimum 5+ years of process experience in optical component assembly design and manufacture.
• Strong understanding of optical device theory including lasers, modulators, and detectors.
• Hands-on experience with FiconTec machinery.
• Proficiency in English and Thai (written and oral) required.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
