What you will do

• Control lapping processes and manage critical-to-quality (CTQ) performance to ensure product specifications are met.
• Establish and optimize lapping tilt control specifications and process configurations for new product development (NPD).
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team by setting clear goals and fostering accountability.
• Collaborate with Wafer, Slider, HGA, and cross-functional teams to align projects and improve yield.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven decision making and process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, JMP, and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English communication skills (Listening, Speaking, Writing, Reading).
• Experience in Hard Disk Drive (HDD) manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
