What you will do

• Develop cloud architecture solutions leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and GKE.
• Design and execute migration plans for applications, data, and infrastructure to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
• Lead the setup of GCP environments, including VPCs, IAM policies, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
• Design architectures with a strong focus on high availability, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with core GCP services (GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Compute Engine).
• Proven expertise in cloud migration strategies and creating architecture blueprints and best practices.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPC, VPN, Interconnect, and DNS.
• Experience designing microservices architectures and containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of data governance and industry regulations.

Nice to have

• GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer).
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins or GitOps.
• Knowledge of AI/ML services on GCP such as Vertex AI and AutoML.
• Security certifications like CCSP or CISSP.
