What you will do

• Lead the technical response to security incidents across complex global infrastructure, services, and applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures, to share knowledge across teams.
• Own the security incident lifecycle, participate in on-call rotations, and conduct root cause analyses (RCAs).
• Collaborate with R&D Engineering and Business teams to build scalable technical solutions and automate manual security processes.
• Drive identified betterments from security events to enhance the company's security and reliability posture.
• Provide mentorship and support to team members to enable long-term career development and success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of security incident response experience in a production-cloud environment.
• Must be based in the US (excluding CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, and WA).
• Expertise in SIEM platforms and SOAR tools, with the ability to extend their functionality.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or other large cloud platforms.
• Ability to utilize AI for complex security incident response and the delivery of high-fidelity detections.
• Advanced knowledge of service-oriented architectures and cloud-native security tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI Model Security and Posture Management to prevent prompt injections and data poisoning.
• Ability to utilize GenAI and LLM-based use cases to contextualize threat data and reduce false positives.
• Experience in forensic artifact collection and analyzing malware or trojans.
• Knowledge of integrating external threat intelligence to proactively defend against emerging risks.
