Senior Security Engineer, Incident Response (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States; not eligible for hiring in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington. Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.

Estimated annual pay ranges from $141,520 to $208,000 depending on location. The role may also include equity and a corporate bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and support responses to security events and incidents across cloud infrastructure, services, and applications.
• Conduct incident triage, containment, remediation, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.
• Create incident documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and scalable security response processes.
• Partner with R&D Engineering and business teams to solve complex security challenges and improve reliability.
• Automate manual security processes and enhance threat mitigation and incident response capabilities.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, maintain internal customer relationships, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of security incident response experience in a production cloud environment.
• Subject-matter expertise in security issues and technologies, including service-oriented architectures and cloud security tools.
• Experience using AI for complex incident response activities and delivering high-fidelity detections.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, SOAR tools, and automation of manual security processes.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or another large cloud platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

Nice to have

• AI model security and posture management, including safeguards against prompt injection, model evasion, and data poisoning.
• GenAI and LLM-based threat response use cases.
• Forensic triage of intrusion artifacts, malware, trojans, and source code.
• Threat intelligence integration and analysis of emerging risks.
